Our Dangerous Cargo Office can only accept dangerous goods substances complying with set international/national rules and local regulations. As such we base our procedures on the following:
According to the International Maritime Organisation [IMO] there are 9 classes of dangerous goods, materials or articles:

Please note when the request is made, we will need the following details in order to make a ‘Hazardous Cargo Request’.
No dangerous goods can be loaded on our vessels without prior acceptance of the CMA-CGM Dangerous Cargo Office who will issue an acceptance number. The booking agent cannot accept a dangerous goods booking before being accepted by the Dangerous Cargo Office. Once an acceptance number is issued and the shipper's agreement has been given the customer will receive a dangerous good declaration that must be supplied at the time of loading.

15. Correct Shipping Name For Hazardous Substance (including chemical hazardous content name giving rise to hazard for nos)
